VOM (Veterinary Othopedic
Manipulation):
Occasionally owners mistake physical issues
with behavioral ones. If your pet (dog, horse, etc.) has physical pain
or discomfort and you put demands on the animal it will behave badly.
It's not necessarily because the animal is poorly trained or because
it has a bad nature, it is most likely because your animal has a healthy
self preservation instinct, or simply because it knows that if it does
what you ask, it will hurt. The first thing we do with any animal is
a simple structual evaluation and treatment. Owners generally see dramatic
changes in the animals functioning and behavior when we remove any discovered
subluxation.
Myofascial Release:
When subluxation or other structural issues result in muscle spasm we
will use some percussive tools to release the spasm and help promote
the newly restored patterns that we're introducing with the VOM.
NEUROFEEDBACK:
At PAN we use a variety of neurofeedback systems.
Having a number of systems allows us to tailor treatment to gain the
best results for each animal.
Neurotherapy is a non-invasive procedure. Neurofeedback
is just beginning to gain in popularity but has been studied and applied
for well over 25 years. It is used in many instances from head injury,
to behavioral issues, to what is termed 'peak performance' meaning animals
already considered "high functioning" optimize brain activity
to become more competitive.
LENS (Low Energy
Neural Stimulation):
Developed by Dr. Len Ochs, this system uses EEG electrodes that monitor
brain waves and send a related feedback signal to the scalp (the strength
of an FM radio signal) to stimulate the brain into reorganizing each
area to reopen pathways and improve functioning. LENS is especially
successful in treating acquired mild traumatic brain injury, and greatly
improves gait and behavioral issues.

pROSHI:
Developed by Chuck Davis, pROSHI also perturbs
the brain on a very deep level causing reorganization. This system uses
light goggles and/or magnets. It works in a similar way to LENS described
above.
CNS optimization:
We have many tools to calm and stabilize the nervous system including
(but not limited to), Bio Cranial, BioCircuits, Homotoxicology (homeopathy),
and more!
