Every year in the early spring I have the opportunity to travel with my husband, colleague and mentor to his monastery in Sikkim (now part of northern India bordering Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan). There we run a small free clinic for 1½ - 2 months. It is an incredible experience and chance to help many people. The entire operation is done with medicines and supplies donated by the companies we deal with here in the states and by the generosity of our patients/clients. This year (2008) we will go from February 20 through April 15 so my office will be closed during that time.

Orgyen Padma Ling Free Services:

While we are in Marin the rest of the year, - we attempt to recreate that amazing experience by having walk-in hours from 10-12 most Saturday mornings ( May through October ) where we do limited treatment for free.
